    Drafted first overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 1976 NFL Draft
    Defensive end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1976-84)
    NFL Defensive Player of the Year (1979)
    Athletic director at the University of South Florida (2001-04)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was one of nine children in his family.
    He spent the majority of his career on a poor Buccaneers team.
    His playing career ended prematurely, as a result of a back injury.
    He is unknown to the younger Buccaneers fans, as the majority of them prefer to remember the players from the late 1990's/early 2000's era.
    He was considered one of the few players Hugh Culverhouse gave special treatment to.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was the first player ever drafted by the Buccaneers franchise.
    He is alao the first Buccaneers to have his number retired and be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the team.
    He opened his own restaurant chain in the Tampa area following his retirement from playing.
    As a result of his off-field contributions in the Tampa Bay region, the City of Tampa named one of their expressways in his honor.
    He worked as a bank executive for a few years, prior to working at the University of South Florida.
