    Scouting coordinator for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (1999-2003)
    Assistant coach for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (2003-04) and the Ottawa Senators (2005-11)
    Head coach for the men's ice hockey teams at St. Lawrence University (2012-16) and the University of Massachusetts

Why he might be annoying:

    He looks like Pee Wee Herman.
    Some college hockey pundits felt he went in over his head, when he left a stable position at St. Lawrence to take the UMass-Amherst head coaching job.
    He admits to being a workaholic, when it comes to coaching.
    His first year at UMass-Amherst was best remembered for the team losing 17 consecutive games to end the season.
    He publicly criticized the National Hockey League, citing it was too individual in contrast to team structure.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He gradually worked his way up the coaching ladder, starting in the high school ranks and worked his way up to the NHL.
    He served on the coaching staffs of Mike Babcock and Bryan Murray, before branching out as a head coach.
    He turned down NHL head coaching jobs, citing he prefers the college level as he can focus on developing the players for success both on and off the ice.
    He was credited with helping turn the UMass-Amherst hockey program from a doormat to respectable.
    He guided the Minutemen to the school's first NCAA Ice Hockey National Championship (2021).
