    He shares his name with an astronaut.
    Despite being a notable player with the Bears, he ended his playing career on losing teams with the Rams, Packers and Chargers.
    He spent 15 days in jail with a $5,000 fine for not having his 1969 income tax return filed (April 21, 1972).
