The Resume

    (December 18, 1987- )
    Born in Kingsport, Tennessee
    Middle name is Ray
    Attended Appalachian State University
Center for the San Francisco 49ers (2011-17), Miami Dolphins (2018-19), and Kansas City Chiefs (2019-21)
Drafted by the 49ers in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft

Why he might be annoying:

He was initially critical of Colin Kaepernick's National Anthem protest.
The Dolphins swung a trade for Kilgore despite the fact that the Niners had signed him to a three-year extension shortly before that.
He was allowed to leave in 2020 after the Dolphins declined a team option.
He changed his Twitter profile photo of himself with an unfinished haircut.
The photo was a joking reference to his being placed on the reserve list after the Chiefs team barber tested positive for COVID-19 (February 2021).

Why he might not be annoying:

He loves Guns n' Roses and Jake Owen.
He named Joe Staley and Reuben Foster as the two teammates he'd like to take on a road trip.
He made three Super Bowl appearances, with the 49ers (2013) and the Chiefs ('20 and '21), earning a ring the second time out - ironically against the now Garoppolo-led 49ers.
He announced his retirement from the NFL in 2021, citing a wish to spend more time with his growing family.
After speaking with Kaepernick about the protest, he said: 'Seeing where he was coming from, I do stand with Kap when he says, Enough is enough against crime and the violence, discrimination and racism.'
