Why 4chan might be annoying:

    It uses Times New Roman font on all of its forums.
    Several fake terrorist/bomb threats have been posted on it.
    It has several message boards devoted solely to anime.
    Most of its users can be categorized as angry teenagers in their mother's basement with too much time on their hands.
    The /b/ forum is completely incomprehensible to any newcomer who reads it.
    The site hosts much pornography and shocking gore images.
    It participated in a distributed denial of service attack against eBaum's World.
    Its users make light of death and enjoys misery at other people's expense.
    Even though it has forums labeled as 'safe for work,' there is still no filter for profanity.
    Anonymous' methods to disrupt the Church of Scientology included black faxes and prank calls.
    Some of its users pretend to take responsibility for school shootings.

Why 4chan might not be annoying:

    Hey, they're going up against Scientology? Go them!
    It attacked white supremacist Hal Turner on his internet shows.
    It does not have a registration system for users.
    It was the birthplace of the 'lolcat' meme.
    Many great internet means are found there.
