Why she might be annoying:

She married at sixteen.
She and her mother-in-law did not get along.
She was unable to handle the strict protocols of the Austrian imperial court.
Her marriage collapsed and she left her family to wander around Europe.
She was very vain.
During the 1870s, she became convinced she was losing her looks, so she refused to be photographed or have her portrait painted.
She was obsessed with dieting and ruined her health trying to stay thin.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was considered one of the most beautiful women in Europe.
She was an accomplished equestrian.
She believed in treating the Hungarians (then part of the Austrian Empire) as equals to the Austrians and encouraged her husband to listen to their demands.
She wrote poetry.
She called the monarchy 'a ruin.'
Her son, the Crown Prince, killed his mistress and then committed suicide in 1889.
She was stabbed to death by an anarchist.
