    Wrote 'The White House Mess' (1986), 'Thank You For Smoking' (1994), 'God Is My Broker' (1998), 'Little Green Men' (1999), 'No Way to Treat a First Lady' (2002), 'Florence of Arabia' (2004), 'Boomsday' (2007) and 'Supreme Courtship' (2008)

    He has the same affected British accent as his father.
    He had a son out of wedlock with a Random House publicist and refused to have any contact with the child.
    He was forced to resign from the magazine founded by his father, National Review, after he endorsed Barack Obama for president.

Why he might not be annoying:

    After endorsing Obama, he said, 'To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, I didn't leave the Republican Party, the Republican Party left me.'
    He quipped, 'It's very easy to be a satirist in America today. You just need ten fingers and a keyboard.'
