Why he might be annoying:

    He had the feminine-sounding middle name 'Daniele.'
    He told an interviewer he was conceived 'during a lull in the filming' of 'Lawrence of Arabia.'
    During an argument on the 'Platoon' set, he decked Willem Dafoe, creating a reputation for being difficult to work with that hurt his film career.
    Despite being of Mexican, Italian and Irish descent, he was frequently cast as Arabs.
