The Resume

    (June 3, 2002-April 1, 2003)
    Aired on Game Show Network
    Hosted by Mark L. Walberg
Premise: 4 contestants must correctly answer trivia questions or face elimination by being dropped through the trap door they are standing on
    Top prize was $100,000

Why Russian Roulette might be annoying:

The main gimmick of the show was watching the contestants falling through a hole in the stage.
You never got to see where the contestants landed.
Mark L. Walberg said that he enjoyed seeing the reactions on the contestants' faces when they landed.
Cheesy Bob Barker wannabe Todd Newton guest hosted an episode.
Only a few contestants ever won the $100,000 top prize.
The contestants frequently cracked jokes about the host sharing a similar name with actor Mark Wahlberg.

Why Russian Roulette might not be annoying:

The contestants literally 'dropped out' of the game.
They occasionally had 'celebrity editions' featuring Danny Bonaduce, Gary Coleman, Kato Kaelin, and Leif Garrett getting swallowed by the trap door.
Lost cast member Jorge Garcia was a contestant on an episode.
None of the contestants were seriously injured from their falls.
Even though it was one of Game Show Network's most popular shows, they quit making new episodes to focus more on reality shows and poker shows.
Game Show Network continued rerunning it for a few years afterwords.
