Why Yoga might be annoying
A complete physical exercise program would still require some type of aerobics and resistance training.
It practitioners are know as yogi or yogini.
A lot of its practitioners are into Eastern and/or New Age spirituality and some of its teachers try to push it on their students.
Because of that, its practice is strongly discouraged by many Christian groups and very directly by the Catholic Church.
There are yoga competitions. Say what?
In the West, most of its practitioners are wealthy Caucasians who ignore its rejection of materialism.
Many of its followers are vegetarians.
Why Yoga might not be annoying
Its practice, development, and history are intertwined with Buddhism, Hinduism, the Sanskrit language, and the history of India in a fascinating and profound way.
Its physical health benefits are undeniable and its practice encourages its practitioners to adopt a more healthful lifestyle and reject materialism.
It's a great way to meet girls!
No one has ever started a war over yoga, they have no televangelists, and yogis don't stone adulteresses or burn witches at the stake.
