    Provided the voice of Zorro in Filmation’s ‘The New Adventures of Zorro’ (1981)
    Appeared in the films ‘Revenge of the Virgins’ (1959), ‘Sniper’s Ridge’ (1961), ‘Cancel My Reservation’ (1972), ‘Walk Proud’ (1979), and ‘The Hitcher’ (1986)

Why he might be annoying:

    The first film in which he received an on-screen credit, ‘Revenge of the Virgins,’ was a nudie flick written by Ed Wood.
    When he portrayed a Vulcan in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Gene Roddenberry complained that he was too emotional.
    A decade after portraying Zorro in an animated series, he portrayed Zorro’s father in a live-action TV series.
    He received the first Nosotros Award for improving the image of Latinos in entertainment, which would be more impressive if he had not been one of the founding members of Nosotros.

    He was president of his high school class.
    He won a scholarship to study acting at the Pasadena Playhouse.
    He was a founding member of the Screen Actors Guild’s Ethnic Minority Committee, with Ricardo Montalban, Edith Diaz, and Carmen Zapata (1972).
    He won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama for ‘Santa Barbara.’ (1990)
