His 'Airplane' character's name was changed from Johnny to Jacobs in the sequel.
He played flamboyant, over-the-top characters.
His film debut was in a reform-school exploitation flick, 'Carnal Madness.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He delivered several of the most memorable lines in 'Airplane!'
David Zucker said that when Stucker was part of the Kentucky Fried Theater group, he could steal the show even when he was just an extra.
He was one of the first actors to publicly announce that he was suffering from AIDS.
