Why they might be annoying:

They collaborated with House of Pain for the 'Judgment Night' rap/metal soundtrack.
Their third album was titled 'Born Annoying.'
Although being considered one of the most talented bands of the 90's, they never achieved any commercial success.
Since breaking up in '99, Page Hamilton has been planning a solo album but has yet to start production.

Why they might not be annoying:

They were considered the East Coast's answer to the Seattle grunge scene.
Page Hamilton formed the band after moving to NYC to study jazz.
They were influenced by Sonic Youth, Killing Joke and Black Sabbath.
Page Hamilton has worked with Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down and Korn since breaking Helmet up.
