He shared his name with a Republican politician from Louisiana.
He was a grown man who went by the name Jimmy.
His passing came mere hours after his oldest son's 2nd birthday party and three months after his youngest son's birth.
He recorded only 5 points in 58 games in his second season with the Bruins, which prompted the team to buy out the final year of his contract.
He spent his final professional seasons playing in the minors.
