Why Crossing Jordan might be annoying:

    It was originally was slated to premiere on September 11, 2001, before being rescheduled due to news coverage of that day's terrorist attacks.
    NBC scheduled the series on different timeslots throughout its run.
    'USA Today' gave a lukewarm review stating, 'What truly strains belief—and your viewing patience—are the absurd quirks Jordan adds to its plot and its characters to try to set itself apart.'
    It had a crossover with fellow NBC drama 'Las Vegas.'
    The show ended on a unresolved cliffhanger with the main characters (save for Jordan) stranded atop a mountain with little hope of being discovered.

Why Crossing Jordan might not be annoying:

    It cast a few famous faces.
    The series did quite well despite hoping from timeslot to timeslot.
    'The New York Times' gave the series a positive review saying, 'Hennessy gives Jordan an appealing, loose-cannon attitude.'
    The series paid homage to the 1954 Alfred Hitchcock film 'Rear Window' in one of its episodes.
    It was more-character driven and less graphic compared to 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.'
