Why she might be annoying:

She began weight lifting to reduce her thighs so she could make the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders; instead, the exercises made her thighs larger.
She admitted that because of reduced body fat, her face looked 'sunken and hard' in competitions.
She disliked interviews with bodybuilding magazines, complaining 'There's so much more to me than what exercise I do for the back and how much protein I eat.'
She hoped to segue into a film and TV career, but noted, 'I don't know if Hollywood is ready for a [female] bodybuilder at my level yet.' (Apparently not: her only role was as a cop in 'Barbershop.')

Why she might not be annoying:

She set a school record in the 100-meter dash in high school.
She was a cheerleader in high school and college and for the Michigan Panthers of the USFL.
She was the second black homecoming queen at Western Michigan University (1982).
She came out of retirement to win her seventh and eighth Ms. Olympia titles.
Her advice for other female bodybuilders: 'Please don't get a crazy urge to be bigger than you were when you won. If you want to train and look like Ronnie Coleman, then do us all a favor and retire.'
