Acted in 'Dad's Army (1969),' 'Rainbow (1972-1973),' 'K-9 and Company (1981),' 'The Barretts of Wimpole Street (1982),' 'Whoops Apocalypse (1986),' 'Downtime (1995),' 'Vanity Fair (1998)' and 'Longitude (2000)'

Why he might be annoying:

Despite a long career, he's best known as a robot dog on a cult sci-fi show.
After playing a talking dog on 'Doctor Who,' he went on to play a talking pair of feet on a kids' show (it was a real STEP up, get it?).
He is nerdy.
One critic described him as looking 'more like a 'Doctor Who' fan than most 'Doctor Who' fans.'

Why he might not be annoying:

Even though he only played the dog on 'Doctor Who,' he actually had a more distinguished career than most of the show's co-stars.
He was well liked on the set.
His favorite actors are Alec Guinness and Ian Holm.
When he did the voice of K9 the robot dog, a child sent him some ball bearings as a present, saying K9 might like to eat them.
