She revealed she was drinking buddies with Marilyn Monroe, King Farouk and Judy Garland.
She alleged flings with Errol Flynn, Bobby Kennedy and Tom Smothers.
Her most explosive allegation was a nearly two year affair with Paul Newman, which started on the set of 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' in 1969.
She claimed Robert Redford helped hide the indiscretion from Joanne Woodward.

She was a star pin-up in the 1950s and 1960s.
She took care of Lenny Bruce's child when he was hauled off to jail.
She was a girlfriend of Jay Sebring around the time of his murder.
She wrote several romance novels and biographies.
She ended the romance with Newman, telling him, 'You're always drunk, and you can't even make love.'
She did not apologize for her scandalous, party girl lifestyle.
