Why Paradise, Nevada might be annoying:

    It heavily relies on tourism.
It isn’t a city, but an unincorporated town.
Due to the fact that its unincorporated, every postal address in the area is registered as being in Las Vegas.
Due to the fact the Las Vegas Strip is located here, nobody pays attention to the fact they are actually in Paradise and not in Las Vegas proper.
It was the site of the infamous 2017 mass shooting, when Stephen Paddock broke the windows out of his hotel room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and killed 58 people attending Country Fest.
It was solely incorporated to prevent the Strip from being annexed into the City of Las Vegas.
It was nearly annexed into Las Vegas 25 years after its incorporation, but the bill was shot down by the Nevada state government, who deemed the amalgamation unconstitutional.

Why Paradise, Nevada might not be annoying:

It was named after Paradise Valley.
It is home to the famed Las Vegas Strip.
It draws millions of tourists worldwide.
If it were to get city status, it would be the fifth largest city in the state of Nevada.
It is home to many of the famed casino resorts along Las Vegas Boulevard.
It experienced a boom following the area landing two professional sports franchises in a five year span.
