Politician

The Resume

Republican elected to represent New York's 3rd Congressional District in the US House of Representatives (2022)
Also used the names Anthony Zabrovsky and Anthony Devolder

Why he might be annoying:

    He's a chronic liar.
He claimed he earned a college degree, but later admitted he had not.
He stated he worked for Goldman Sachs, but later admitted he had made a 'poor choice of words'.
He claimed to be of Jewish heritage, but later clarified he said he was 'Jew-ish' not 'Jewish'.
He stated he was robbed of his rent money while appearing in eviction court. The New York Police Department had no record of this.
He allegedly stole a checkbook and made fraudulent purchases in Brazil.
He was married to a woman for seven years. Then married a man.
He claimed his parents both died during the World Trade Center attack on September 11, but also stated she died in December 2016.
After a House Ethics Committee investigation produced evidence of several alleged crimes, he became the 6th congressman in the history of the US House of Representatives to be expelled (December 1, 2023).

Why he might not be annoying:

He was likely a bilingual customer service representative (Portuguese) for Dish Network.
He accepted responsibility for some of his lies, stating 'we all make mistakes'.
Like his idol, he's charismatic enough to have some people believing every lie coming out of his mouth.
If he does in fact identify as gay, he was one of the first openly gay Republicans to be elected to Congress.
I mean, it's not like politicians are known for being honest in the first place.
