    During his title unification bout against Mike Tyson, he was booed repeatedly for his extremely cautious style and was penalized two points for excessive holding.
    He announced his retirement after a loss to Donovan ‘Razor’ Ruddock, but returned to the ring after only two months (1989).
    He was downright flabby in his last fights.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He earned a degree in business administration from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and became the first college graduate to become heavyweight champ.
    Tyson described his first round knockout of Tim Witherspoon to win the WBA title as ‘a dramatic display of physical power.’
    He became a minister and started the nonprofit Champions for Kids to provide scholarships for high school students.
