The Resume

    (2012- )
    Born in Deale, Maryland
    John Thomas Osborne (April 27, 1982- )
    Thomas John 'T.J.' Osborne (November 18, 1984- )
Recorded the singles 'Let's Go There,' 'Rum,' 'Stay A Little Longer,' 'It Ain't My Fault,' '21 Summer,' 'Shoot Me Straight' and 'All Night'

Why they might be annoying:

They go by the clumsy sounding name Brothers Osborne, rather than Osborne Brothers. (Presumably to avoid confusion with the earlier Osborne Brothers who recorded the bluegrass standard 'Rocky Top.')
Their full names are inversions of the other one's.
John bears a striking resemblance to Chris Stapleton.
T.J.'s singing voice sounds similar to that of Trace Adkins.
T.J. was once denied a solo record contract because he didn't sound 'generic enough' to record executives.
Their music style has been described as being either 'too twangy' or 'too rock' for country music standards.
They were part of the bro-country movement of the 2010's.

Why they might not be annoying:

They are the first known mainstream country music act to hail from the state of Maryland.
They write most of their own material.
They worked for their dad at his plumbing business, while they were trying to establish themselves in the music industry.
John is married to British singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas.
T.J. came out as gay, making him the first openly gay country music artist signed to a major record label (February 3, 2021).
Their song '21 Summer' was one of the first known country songs about a same-sex relationship, which was confirmed by T.J. himself.
