Why she might be annoying:

When she was 16, she saw John Barrymore in the film 'Svengali' and became obsessed with him, even changing her name to sound more like his.
She married Barrymore when she was 19 and he was 53.
    They got divorced and remarried.
The rest of the Barrymore family disdained her, feeling she was using John's fame to advance her career.
She was the first of John's wives to use the name 'Barrymore' professionally.

Why she might not be annoying:

She beat Drew by five decades as the first Barrymore to take it all off in public.
She reported that John 'roughed me up a bit' during their first post-marital fight.
She was the only one of John's ex-wives to attend his funeral.
She never remarried, saying that after Barrymore marrying anyone else would be 'anticlimactic.'
