The show's studio audience was encouraged to be as loud and obnoxious as possible.
It stereotyped both men and women.
Its comedy revolved around potty humor and sex jokes.
It always featured Al Bundy putting a hand down his pants.
After 9/11, a scene depicting Arabs planning to blow up the Sears Tower was cut from syndication.
The role of Peg Bundy was originally offered to Roseanne.
The Bundys adopted a child named Seven who mysteriously disappeared after one season.
When Buck, the family dog, died, they had its replacement dog become Buck's reincarnation.
It typecast FOX as a trashy network.
It was one of the longest-running shows to never win an Emmy.
Jessica Hahn guest starred because she was sleeping with one of the producers.
It spun off the unsuccessfully series 'Top of the Heap' with Jaime Pressly and Matt LeBlanc.

Its racy and bold humor pushed television boundaries.
