The Resume

    (December 17, 1959- )
    Born in Brooklyn, New York
Drafted 10th overall by the New Jersey Nets in the 1981 NBA Draft
Small forward/Shooting guard for the New Jersey Nets (1981-87), Philadelphia 76ers (1987-88), San Antonio Spurs (1988-89) and the Washington Bullets (1991)

Why he might be annoying:

He lived in the shadow of his brother, Bernard.
Despite having an impressive high school career, his college and pro career never lived up to the hype.
His #55 he wore with the Nets was Bernard's #22 he wore with the team upside down.
He played in Europe for two years as he was unhappy with the contract offers he received from NBA teams.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was considered the top high school player in the nation, ranked higher then a young Magic Johnson (1977).
He was one of the central figures in the book 'Heaven is a Playground', which chronicled the streetball scene in Brooklyn in the 1970's.
He had his #55 retired by the University of Maryland, and was named to the ACC's 50th anniversary team (2002).
He got to play his final NBA season alongside Bernard as a member of the Washington Bullets (1991).
