Why he might be annoying:

    He directed music videos and commercials.
    Many people criticized Tyldum and screenwriter Graham Moore for downplaying mathematician Alan Turing's homosexuality.
    Historians also noted that 'The Imitation Game' distorted several facts regarding events and other people close to Turing depicted in the film.
    He was rumored to direct a 'Star Trek' film.

    His feature film directorial debut 'Buddy' earned the Audience Award at the Norwegian Film Festival in 2003.
    His film 'Headhunters' became the highest grossing Norwegian film of all time.
