They watched home games at the cavernous SkyDome before sharing the Air Canada Centre with the Leafs.
They watched former GM Rob Babcock turn the team into a laughingstock by making sub par trades and questionable draft selections.
They chose the name 'Raptors' during the 'Jurassic Park' craze of the mid 1990s.
Why they might not be annoying
Their team is the first one to have their own television network, RaptorsTV.
They have a dedicated fanbase who have stuck it out through the lean years.
Their team gives back to their fans by being involved in various community related programs.
They were excited when they heard about the appointment of Bryan Colangelo as the team's new GM (2006).
They led the league in sellouts for three consecutive seasons from 2000 to 2002.
Like the Blue Jays, they are considered Canada's Team.
