    Drafted 85th overall by the Cincinnati Royals in the 1958 NBA Draft
    Point guard for the USAF All-Stars (1959-60), Akron Wingfoots (1960), Cincinnati Royals (1961-69), San Francisco Warriors (1969-71) and the Virginia Squires (1971-72)
    NBA All-Star Game MVP (1966)

    He shares his name with the English guitarist.
    He was the fifth of six children born in his family.
    His nickname 'Odie' came after a comedian who performed at the Grand Ole Opry.
    He had his scholarship offer at Murray State University withdrawn as a result of him taking too long to decide if he wanted to attend there.
