Why he might be annoying:

He dropped out of college.
He spent much of his WWE career as Roddy Piper's lackey.
His character wore a cast, even though there was nothing wrong with his arm.
He used the cast to cheat in matches.
In an angle with him aligning with Adrian Adonis, he ditched his trademark cowboy hat and wore a pink one.
His last televised wrestling match was on the horrific Heroes of Wrestling Pay-Per-View.
He still wrestles despite being well past his prime and not being able to draw a dime.

He was under rated.
He was one of the first wrestlers to popularize the superplex.
He was primarily used in a supporting role for some of the biggest feuds in wrestling history.
He played a key part in the main event of the first WrestleMania with actually wrestling.
He tied with Tony Garea to be named Rookie of the Year in PWI (1973).
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame (2005).
