The Resume

    (1839- )
    Born in Brittany, France
Organization of Catholic religious sisters dedicated to caring for the elderly
Founded by Saint Jeanne Jugan in 19th Century France
Most well known for suing the presidential administration of Barack Obama when it attempted to force them to provide birth control/abortion services to its members and employees through its insurance plans or ask for an exemption in the legal case known as Zubik v Burwell
Has over 2,300 members in over thirty countries, including; The United States, the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Turkey, and New Zealand

Why they might be annoying:

If it weren't for the Obama presidential administration trying to force them to pay for birth control and abortion services (both artificial birth control and abortion are forbidden by the Catholic Church), nobody would have ever heard of them.
Obamacare provided an opt out clause which could be considered a reasonable accommodation by some.
Many of their members, especially in the United States are elderly and some are even older than the people they seek to serve and relatively few of their newer members are from the United States or the West.
They were started by the French.

Why they might not be annoying:

They are one of the largest religious orders in the Catholic Church.
In addition to the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience that all religious sisters take; they take a special vow of hospitality.
Their habits (the outfits members of their order wear) give them a look that is both cool and classic.
They have a growing population of new and dedicated members, mostly from the Third World.
No matter what you feel about their legal case; birth control, abortion, the Catholic Church, or Obamacare; if you find yourself suing nuns to make them buy birth control, you are screwing up.
Dedicating your life to caring for the elderly is a good thing.
Few of their present members are French.
