    Best known for his role as Swan, the head punk in the 1979 cult classic gang movie 'The Warriors'
    Acted in 'Xanadu (1980),' 'Triumphs of a Man Called Horse (1982),' 'Megaforce (1982),' 'The Golden Seal (1983),' 'Chiller (1985)' and 'Forest Warrior (1996)'
    Played Sgt. Levon Lundy in the TV series 'Houston Knights' (1987-88)

Why he might be annoying:

    His good looks and lead role in 'The Warriors' assured he was on the rise. Then he made 'Xanadu,' a disco roller rink movie with Olivia Newton-John.
    He said of the choices, 'The Warriors' opened a lot of doors in film, for me, which 'Xanadu' then closed.'
    When a 'Xanadu' geek asked him if the legwarmers were to hide Olivia's thick ankles, he said 'I plead the fifth!'
    In a span of three years (1989-92), he played three different people in guest appearances on the TV series 'Murder, She Wrote.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He played quarterback for his college football team, Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
    Olivia Newton-John wanted John Travolta for the lead in 'Xanadu' (who wisely said 'no') without giving him a chance, and bad-mouthed his performance throughout (as if she's Academy Award winning material).
    Wes Craven personally wanted him for the lead role in his movie 'Chiller.'
    He provided the voice for the Books-On-Tape version of John Grisham's 'Runaway Jury' (2004).
