    He has used the name Scott Pierce.
    He dropped out of New York University film school, with only four credits left for his degree.
    In 1996, New Line Cinema lost $100 million.
    His up and down career with New Line took a major hit when Adam Sandler's 'Little Nicky' lost over $40 million.
    This flop caused AOL Time Warner not to give him a new contract and he was out of work in 2001.

    He interned at New Line Cinema and worked his way up to president.
    In 1993, when Ted Turner bought New Line Cinema, he promoted De Luca to Production President.
    Under his guidance New Line made $1 billion in a two year period (1994-1995).
    He is also currently ranked 54 on Premiere magazine's Hollywood Power list.
    He ranked #77 (1995), #78 (1996), #52 (2000) and #52 (2002) in Premiere Magazines Power List.
    He ranked #22 (1999) in Entertainment Weekly's Power List.
