Why he might be annoying:

He tells lame jokes like, how do you tell if it's a baby snake? Easy, just look for its rattle.
He was twice bitten by poisonous snakes (coral snake and a fer-de-lance snake).
He tattooed a coral snake on his shoulder after he was bitten by one.
He believes totally in evolution, angering the believers of creationism.
He is a Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter) wannabe, usually visiting location after Steve Irwin.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is an evolutionist, thinks creationism is ridiculous.
He has degrees in Biology and Anthropology from Bridgewater State University (1992).
He did graduate work on Central American bats for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
His 'Going Wild with Jeff Corwin' was signed by Disney to teach kids about vanishing animals and eco-systems (1997-99).
His show 'The Jeff Corwin Experience' debut (December 3, 2000).
He is an expert on snakes.
