Why he might be annoying:

    He is a hunting enthusiast.
    He was remembered for throwing the ball in Game 6 of the 1985 World Series that was supposed to get Jorge Orta out at first base, but wound up getting called safe instead.
    He missed both the 1990 and 1991 seasons recovering from Tommy John surgery.
    He struggled with injuries during his first two seasons with the Dodgers, with baseball pundits going as far as calling him a free-agent bust.
    He likes to push his faith onto other people.

    He played a variety of different positions in college, before establishing himself as a pitcher in his senior year.
    He set a major league record when he struck out six consecutive hitters in the 1985 World Series.

    He is the first pitcher in major league history to record 30+ saves in his first two seasons.
    He proved he wasn't a bust for the Dodgers when he made two All-Star appearances in consecutive years following the strike.
