    His nickname was 'il Balilla' which translates into 'The Little Boy.'
    He was initially rejected by AC Milan for his small stature.
    He played for five different teams.
    He missed the majority of two seasons as a result of injuries.
    He had a penchant for sleeping in brothels the night before a games.
    He was considered lazy, often choosing to wake up long after his teammates completed their drills.
    He died two days before his 69th birthday (1979).
