Why he might be annoying:

    He opted to re-enter the NHL Entry Draft when he couldn't reach a contract agreement with the Nordiques.
    He was shuffled back and forth between the North Stars and the minors during his entire tenure with the team.
    He played three separate stints with Ässät Pori of the Finnish league.
    He is remembered by NHL fans for being part of a trade that was known as a punchline for fast food lovers.
    He was traded to the Oilers for Bruce Bell, in what became known as the 'Takko Bell' trade (November 22, 1990).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a serviceable backup to both Don Beaupre and Jon Casey in Minnesota.
    He was a mainstay on the Finnish national team during the 1980's.
    He later served as the director of European scouting with the relocated Dallas Stars franchise, following his retirement from active play.
    He was acquired by the Oilers as an insurance policy to Bill Ranford, in wake of Grant Fuhr's suspension.
    He didn't mind the attention he got in wake of the 'Takko Bell' trade.
