Why they might be annoying:

Their album titles are not exactly creative.
They ranked #1 on VH1's 'Two Timers,' which was a countdown for artists that only had two hits, their two hits were 'Peaches' and 'Lump.'
Chris is currently doing a TV pilot for a show that he describes as 'MTV meets The Muppets.'
It took two years before Jason finally decided to say yes and join the band.
After they split up they didn't really have much success. Dave failed at trying to join Weezer and Jason drummed for a lot of indie rock bands, some of which broke up.
Chris has a tattoo of a Tasmanian devil that his mother helped him design.
They took a taping of Rosie O'Donnell's voice to play on tour with them.

Why they might not be annoying:

They've been said to 'bring humor back to the angst-ridden of post-grunge rock.'
'Weird' Al Yankovic parodied their song, 'Lump,' changing the title to, 'Gump,' which was a big hit for 'Weird' Al.
They've contributed to Disney's soundtrack, 'George Of The Jungle.'
They performed and wrote, 'Cleveland Rocks,' the theme song to the Drew Carey Show.
They made a public announcement that they were breaking up so Chris could spend time with his family (December 17, 1997).
In 2000, they came back together with a shorter name, 'The Presidents.'
They did a cover of 'Video Killed The Radio Star' which was featured in the movie, 'The Wedding Singer.'
Their album, 'The Presidents of the United States of America' was certified 2x Platinum.
They've played at odd venues such as a hot-dog stand, on a flatbed truck, a bowling alley and at Mount Rushmore on President's Day of 1996.
Their first TV performance was at Nickelodeon's 'Big Help-A-Thon,' which was an event to help make the environment a better place.
