Small forward/power forward for the Seattle Supersonics (1987-93), Indiana Pacers (1993-2001) and the Philadelphia 76ers (2002)

Why he might be annoying:

He opted to skip his senior season at Alabama to enter the NBA Draft.
He, along with Nate McMillan and Xavier McDaniel, were known as the 'Big Mac Trio', due to the fact all three had surnames that started with Mc.
He spent a significant portion of his career on teams that had solid regular seasons, but never could continue the trend come playoff time.
He was overshadowed by the likes of Shawn Kemp in Seattle and Reggie Miller in Indiana.
He spent the final seasons of his career primarily in a reserve role.

Why he might not be annoying:

He put an emphasis on defense and team play.
He preferred to pass the ball rather then score when he had the opportunity.
He was a member of the United States team that won the gold medal at the 1986 FIBA Championship.
He was acquired by the Pacers in the deal that sent Detlef Schrempf to Seattle, which benefitted both teams as they reached the NBA Finals within seven years (1993).
He was a key contributor on the Pacers team that reached the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history (2000).
