    Born in Mansfield, Ohio
    Attended Washington & Jefferson College
    Tackle for the Canton Bulldogs (1920-1923, 1925-1926), New York Giants (1927) and the Pottsville Maroons (1927-1928)
    Head coach for the Canton Bulldogs (1926), Pottsville Maroons (1928) and the Washington & Jefferson (1942, 1945)
    Named to NFL's 1920s All-Decade Team
    Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1963)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was nicknamed 'Fats' for his short and pudgy size.
    A tendon injury kept him from playing in most of his season he returned to the Bulldogs (1925).
    He left the Giants after playing in four games for the team, resulting him to miss out on a chance to appear in the 1927 NFL Championship game.
    He closed his playing career with a Maroon team that went 2-8.
    His NFL head coaching career was a disappointment.

Why he might not be annoying:

    Despite his size, he was a versatile player in kicking, punting, tackling and blocking.
    He won Consensus All-American honors twice (1918 and 1919).
    He has been called 'the fastest and most aggressive big man' by Pop Warner.
    He kicked a field goal at 40 yards that helped the Bulldogs to an undefeated 1922 season.
    He once recorded a very long punt at 94 yards and a 50 yard field goal in which were NFL records.
    He was a big contributing player as helped the Bulldogs won two straight NFL Championship games (1922-1923).
    He worked as the athletic director of Washington & Jefferson in the circumstances of World War II.
