Why he might be annoying:

He murdered an Egyptian architect for beating a slave, and became a fugitive.
He worked as a shepherd and married the boss' daughter.
He spoke to a burning bush.
He refused God when he told him to take the Hebrews out of slavery, claiming he was not capable because he stammered.
He was instrumental on bringing ten plagues on Egypts.
In a fit of rage he threw and broke the ten commandments.
He was portrayed by Charlton Heston in 'The Ten Commandments.'
Michelangelo statute of Moses (see picture) depicts him with horns. Michelangelo mistranslated the word 'Shone' for 'horns' (as in Moses forehead shone).
This caused a number of people to believe that Jewish people had horns on their forehead.

Why he might not be annoying:

He protected the Jews from the wrath of God, and negotiated with God on their behalf.
He led the Hebrew slaves out of Egypt.
He parted the Sea of Reeds to allow slaves to escape Pharaoh's army (Mistaked as the Red Sea).
Moses intervened and calmed God's rage on the slaves behalf after they worshipped a golden calf.
Although freeing the slaves and leading them to the 'Promised Land' God forbade him from entering it.
