Why Arby's might be annoying:

It closed all its locations in 15 different countries between 1988 and 2001.
It changed ownership numerous times throughout its history.
Its roast beef sandwiches can be extremely messy to handle.
It doesn't have the same popularity with fast food consumers the way the hamburger chains do.
They tried to convert from a family run operation to a public run company in the 1970's, but were forced to abandon it when the stock market fell.
They attempted to compete with Boston Market in the late 1990's, which failed miserably.
They originally wanted to call their restaurant 'Big Tex,' but had to abandon it when the name was already in use.
They drew criticism from consumers for charging 69 cents for a roast beef sandwich, at a time when hamburger stands were charging 15 cents for burgers.

Why Arby's might not be annoying:

It got free publicity on 'Seinfeld,', after Patrick Warburton's character, David Puddy expresses his love for the chain.
Contrary to popular belief, it was named Arby's as a result of the restaurant being founded by the Raffel Brothers.
Its cowboy hat logo has made it one of the more recognizable brands in America.
It was one of the first fast food restaurants to provide an alternative to hamburgers.
Its restaurants were purposely given a luxurious style look, as a way to stand out in the fast food market.
It was one of the first fast food chains to offer a lite menu.
It was one of the first fast food restaurants to serve curly fries and baked potatoes as part of their menus.
