Why he might be annoying:

    He was a pretty mediocre skater.
    He bounced around five different teams, following his departure from the Bruins.
    His decision to sign with the Maple Leafs was part of then-general manager Brian Burke's strategy to make the team big and truculent.
    He was a whipping boy amongst Leaf fans, after his productivity dropped off sharply, during his stint with the team.
    He spent his final season as a healthy scratch with the Flyers, playing a mere six games with the team.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He fulfilled a childhood dream by playing for the Bruins.
    He was a mainstay on the Bruins defense for a decade, before leaving the team in free agency.
    He was a member of the Penguins Stanley Cup championship team (2009).
    He was part of the trade that sent Blake Geoffrion to the Canadiens, making Blake the fourth member of his family to play for the franchise (2012).
    He was a big defenseman who wasn't afraid to sacrifice his body in order to help his team win games.
