Guard/Forward for the New York Knicks (1980-81), New Jersey Nets (1981-82), Kansas City/Sacramento Kings (1982-86), Los Angeles Clippers (1986-88), Houston Rockets (1988-91) and the Cleveland Cavaliers (1991)
Assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks (1996-99), Cleveland Cavaliers (1999-2001), Philadelphia 76ers (2001-03) and the Detroit Pistons (2003-04)
Head coach for the Atlanta Hawks (2004- )

Why he might be annoying:

He was a journeyman player.
He recorded a 13-69 record during his rookie season as a head coach.
He was the source of inner turmoil in the Hawks organization after some of the partners in the ownership group wanted to relieve him of his coaching duties.
His nickname is 'Woody.'
As a player, his longest tenure was four seasons with the Kings.
