    Founding member of the comedy troupe Royal Canadian Air Farce
    Performed with Royal Canadian Air Farce on both television and radio for over thirty years
    Known for parodying public figures and politicians
    Included impersonations of George W. Bush, Peter Mansbridge, and Queen Mother Elizabeth II Windsor

Why he might be annoying:

    His filmography outside of RCAF is almost nonexistent.
    He turned down an offer to write for Taxi.
    His variety show ‘SketchCom’ lasted only six episodes.
    He claimed that former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien told him his impersonation of his likeness sounded more like Preston Manning than it did him.

Why he might not be annoying:

    His comedic influences were Monty Python and Dave Broadfoot.
    His favorite shows included Red Green Show and The Larry Sanders Show.
    He hosted the Easter Seals telethon on the CBC with Don Ferguson for more than twenty years.
    He was awarded an honorary doctor of laws degree by Brock University of Ontario in 1993.
    He succumbed to leukemia after a fourteen-year battle (only close family members knew of his diagnosis).
    He made his last RCAF appearance on a 2010 New Years Eve Broadcast - less than three months before his death.
    He is the namesake for a deceased professor on The Big Bang Theory whose notes are the center of an entire episode plot.
