The Resume

    (November 5, 1962-November 10, 2022)
    Born in Scarborough, Toronto, Canada
    Middle name is John
Regular on CBC’s ‘Royal Canadian Air Farce’ (2004-14)
Appeared on Much Music’s ‘Video on Trial’
Hosted the podcast ‘Conspiracy Queries’ on Sirius XM
Known for performing impressions of Clint Eastwood, Michael Ignatieff, and Stephane Dion

Why he might be annoying:

He impersonated Barack Obama on RCAF.
And while it wasn’t exactly blackface, he wore a form of light brown skin coloring, which he likely wouldn’t have gotten away with contemporarily.
His filmography is sparse compared to his castmates and was even more limited after leaving RCAF (but it being due to his illness at the time, he gets a pass on that one).

Why he might not be annoying:

He did voice overs for Chevy commercials.
He worked as a writer with The Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
Unlike other RCAF members, he didn’t join the cast as an impersonator, but rather adapted to it.
He was nominated for both comedy writing as well as best male TV performance at the 2007 Canadian Comedy Awards.
He was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2014, but lived through it for an additional eight years.
He advocated for the use of medical cannabis through his podcast and his website.
