    He forwarded racist and sexually explicit e-mails.
    He had a heated, and threatening, exchange with New York Post columnist Fred Dicker.
    He had a daughter out of wedlock with one of his employees (yes, he was married at the time).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He graduated St. Bonaventure University and Syracuse Law School.
    His campaign reminded New Yorkers that they are taxed more than citizens of any other U.S. state.
    How often do you get to hear a politician tell a journalist 'I'll take you out, Buddy.'?
    His primary victory over former Representative Rick Lazio was considered a major upset (September 14, 2010).
    He fought to eliminate tolls on I-190 for residents of Buffalo, New York.
