Former WCW Tag Team Champion (with Terry Gordy)
Held many different titles in Japan and in independent promotions around the U.S.

Why he might be annoying:

He got the nickname 'Dr. Death' at a young age because he was known to smash down the defensive line in front of him during football games.
He would always go back and forth between becoming famous in Japan and then going back to the States.
He entered the WWE in a 'Brawl For All' tournament, an event basically put together to make him a star (with Jim Ross as his manager).
The stint didn't work out, as he got injured and then fired from the company because of 'bad publicity.'
When he re-entered WCW in 1999, he used the exact same gimmick as he did in WWE, even with a Jim Ross look-alike as his manager.
His manager occasionally poked fun at Jim Ross by wearing cowboy hats, talking like him and bringing barbecue sauce with him.
His voice box was removed due to throat cancer (2004).

Why he might not be annoying:

He was so impressive as a football player that he quickly received a scholarship to the University of Oklahoma, joining the football team as an offensive lineman.
He was able to make himself a huge star in Japan, even though he was born in the middle of nowhere (Oklahoma).
His tag teams with Terry Gordy and Ted DiBiase are considered two of the best tag teams of the mid 80s and early 90s.
He occasionally moved back to the States because so his son could see him in action.
He reached good terms with WWE and often worked with them as a trainer and wrestled in non-televised shows.
He has one of the best nicknames in wrestling.
