The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He shares his name with the singer/rapper and the baseball player.
His tenure with the Coyotes lasted 17 games over three seasons.
To make it worse, he couldn't crack a full-time roster spot on a weak Coyotes team.
He was traded to the New York Rangers, but never played a game for the team (2016).
His status of being the first NHL player born and trained in the Dallas area is ignored, due to the ascension of both Blake Coleman and Seth Jones in the region.

Why he might not be annoying:

He played football growing up, prior to making the switch to hockey.
He was the first native of Texas to be recruited for the ice hockey team at the University of Michigan.
He earned CCHA All-Rookie Team honors at Michigan, after he led the team in rookie scoring (2010).
He was the first player born and exclusively trained in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to reach the NHL.
He established himself as a goal scorer, when he left the NHL to play in Germany.
