The Resume

    (August 18, 1980- )
    Born in Detroit, Michigan
Linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens (2002-2008) and New York Jets (2009 - )
Played in college for Southern Illinois
    Pro Bowl Selection (2006)
    All-Pro Selection (2006)

Why he might be annoying:

He is a frequent trash talker.
He signed with the Jets in part because Rex Ryan, who just ended a stint as the Ravens' defensive coordinator, became their coach just before he signed with them.
He somehow managed to trademark the phrase 'can't wait.'
He had to retake his SAT's so colleges would be more willing to accept him.
In 2011, he made an appearance on TNA's Impact wrestling show. Some thought that he violated the terms of his NFL contract by appearing on the show.

Why he might not be annoying:

After the Jets upset the New England Patriots in the 2010-2011 NFL playoffs, he gave a pro wrestling-style interview to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio. The clip ended up being popular on YouTube.
He had a long career considering that he wasn't drafted by any team.
He was viewed as a locker room leader in both college and the pros.
He is involved with many charities, having grown up in poverty in Detroit.
He ended up earning a degree from Southern Illinois in Economics.
