Why he might be annoying:

    He attended four different high schools in four consecutive years.
    He was academically ineligible to play in the Division I ranks.
    His draft stock fell as a result of both a rotator cuff injury and playing at a smaller college program.
    Despite his status as a Cowboys franchise great, he was unceremoniously released by the team.
    He named his son after himself.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He survived a near-fatal bout of meningitis as a child.
    At the age of 10, he sustained multiple stab wounds to his head, shoulder and neck protecting his brother from a neighborhood bully.
    He played in eleven Pro Bowl games with the Cowboys.
    He earned a Super Bowl ring as a member of the team (1995).
    He is the first player in the history of the Sonoma State University football program to be drafted into the NFL.
    He was able to bench press 705 lbs and squat 905 lbs, and is considered amongst the strongest players to play in the NFL.
